Funny. When we wrote recently about The Observer's shocking 13th hour revelation that Danny didn't design Freedom Tower, we tacked on a few cheap shots at his current plans for condos in lesser regional capitals, adding—quite sportingly, we thought—that their authorship is not in dispute. Now it is. This just in from Ethan Ernest, minor Ground Zero celebrity (d.b.a. "Ripple Effects") and loyal Guttersnipe:

"He didn't design the condo in Kentucky either. Or at least he omitted an important input in his sudden esthetic transformation from spiky to curvy. Daniel Libeskind's recent proposal for a Cincinnati developer looks remarkably influenced by our WTC proposal which doesn't come as too much of a surprise to us as Libeskind wrote us an email prior to his 'winning' the LMDC site architect competition, stating our idea "has already had a tremendous impact on me and my family."

you were kind enough to deliver to my hotel room the extraordinary book which your school produced. It is more inventive and imaginative and profound than most of the things I have seen, even on the graduate level. I congratulate all those that participated in this fabulous project.
