David Rockwell Primps for Page Six
Monday, July 11, 2005

8747-1.jpgWhat dark currencies changed hands to bring this non-item about Nobu 57 designer David Rockwell to Page Six today (and, via this über-cryptic post, to The Gutter)?

David Rockwell, the architect/designer behind Nobu and Monkey Bar, pulled a bit of a diva act when he was interviewed by a magazine reporter at the new Nobu, on West 57th Street, the other day. Our snitch snickers that Rockwell had a hair-and-makeup man work on him so he wouldn't look "haggard" in the photo. "He was particularly concerned with his hair" says our source. Rockwell also had "a small entourage of people with him."

Wait. All is forgiven. We knew about the hair. Rockwell has an entourage!
