Zaha's Virgin Shopping Spree
Monday, August 8, 2005

ZahaHadid.jpgIt just keeps coming. Crimes of passion we understand. Omission, too. But theft? Theft! Who would stoop so low? Now, if the sight of Zaha Hadid stooping so low irks or bothers, read not on, fragile soul. However, if the very thought of Zaha and/or her minions finding inspiration for a new tower while, say, gee-and-teeing it in SHoP Architects' Virgin Atlantic Lounge at Kennedy does not make you wretch, well, you're made of stranger stuff than we. Say again? Let's let our tipster speak:

Shop's entire office of 30 went to London for a four day holiday party last December as a thank you for all of their hard work. Several of them visited Hadid’s office to catch up with old school mates who now work for her. Now we know why they had photos of the recently completed Virgin Atlantic Lounge posted up on several desks.

After the jump, the shocking truth.
