Cooper-Hewitt: Still More Pathetically Profligate
Thursday, September 29, 2005

M Peter Cooper Hewitt.jpgSo a snitch—a different one!—forwards to us this invite (below the fold). You pay the Cooper-Hewitt god only knows what kind of the filthiest imaginable scratch to attend the, um, the "National Design Awards," and then, because you can't stop the magic, you roll into the hot, hott, hottt afterparty and—what's this? You want me to pay another $150? To rock out with Michael Bierut, Tracey Hummer, and one measly fifth of the fab five? Then you'll rake the proceeds into another six-figure, Pentagonal reception desk? It's just not right.
