Gutterland Police Blotter: Rhyme Wars
Wednesday, October 12, 2005

Cranberries2.gifTeddy G took his swing. And now the Bitter Realist kicks it all lyrical:

Dearest G'Sniper:

Theodore Grunewald may like a G&T and some Cole Porter, but The Bitter Realist prefers Cosmopolitans and, hence, The Cranberries.

They had an accident
and they never noticed anyway
A lack of originality
couldn't focus on the day
So much for the radio
everybody sounds the same
Everybody wears the same clothes now
and everybody plays the game

Copycat, copycat, copycat
Copy copy copy copy yourself
Copycat, copycat, copycat
Copy copy copy everyone else

So somebody built a building. That may have, er, borrowed from another building. The Bitter Realist wrote in calling bullshit. And now he's stealing lyrics to make his point? Dodgy. But we like dodgy.
