Figuratively in the past, but now literally. Our perch: Top of the Rock, the Gabellinified upper reaches of the GE Building, which opens to you plebes Nov. 1. Get past the Swarovski chandelier in the basement (very Trump), plug your ears for the elevator ride (trust us), pick up some Graves shit at the Target store (that's right, and no it's not really the best place for a giant bullseye), and then get out those binocs for a panoptic vantage 80 miles wide. We're watching, as is our benefactor. Be afraid.
