A Special Note From The Publisher... Tuesday, November 8, 2005
It is hard to believe that so few days have passed since the installation of a new Guttersniper. It's been a little rocky, I think we can all admit, but luckily a weekend intervened to keep the post count low. We heard your pleas here for the return of darkness; indeed, we were taken aback that the new scribe, who seemed so delightfully dark at first meeting, could not sustain that mood by light of day. This only went on so long because we were scrambling to prep a replacement and because, well, there were complicating obligations. Let's leave it at that. Thank you for your forbearance. But remember when I wrote that "this one will flame out as gloriously as the last"? I wasn't joking. The same applies to the newest in our long string of Guttersnipers, selected from the dozens of thoughtful applications we received (keep them coming!), and from whom you will all be hearing very soon. Yours in The Gutter, Lock · The Guttersniper is Dead. Long Live The Guttersniper! [The Gutter] All set here?
