GPB: Diller + Scofidio Rob a Tiki Bar! Monday, December 5, 2005
· Gutterland Police Blotter: Diller + Scofidio Rob a Bank! [The Gutter] Reader Comments (2 extant) 1. the design on this matchbook has it's roots in polynesian architecture (note also the tiki sculpture on the left hand side), yet you say "...cue the congas". please note that the conga is of afro-cuban descent, a dance and an instrument inspired by african-cuban drumming. polynesian drums are typically called pahu or to'ere. hope this helps you in your writings on the incessant, mind-numbingly boring "diller+scofidio rob a ____" series.
