Poor Reed. Just when all the piling on was beginning to make even our cynical selves feel a touch of rare sympathy, the end is near. It matters not now how effectively he rids the Crescent City of the New Urbanist scourge. It matters not how black he may now be. Presumably after his stint as midwife in Namibia, Brad Pitt is coming to save New Orleans.
