OMG. Or, we should say, our gods, plural, for we don't want to speak for our colleagues, who are free to worship as they choose, or even for other parts of ourselves. Of which there are many. But none—strangely, exactly none—that welcome the prospect of a massive Zaha Hadid retrospective this summer at FLLW's old Guggenheim, the secondary effects in the press, and, tertiarily, the ongoing influence of that formal fibber on the soft, kind minds of studentdom. This makes me recall her famous 'i've fallen and i can't get up' moment during the setup of her show at Grand Central a decade ago. She was pinned to the ground by one of her fallen shrapnel-shaped installation pieces, and it supposedly took a good 45 minutes for her disgruntled employees to notice and set her free.

I can only imagine Zaha and her upside down Miyake tunic taking a tumble down the ramp...

I could care less about who has a pritzker prize. The pritzker is given by elite family to their personal prized starchitects who have done nothing to contribute to society or architecture (other than create showy ugly monuments to themselves).
