Um. Who designed Daniel Libeskind's apartment? Architectural Digest knows. The New Yorker knows. New York certainly knows. Even dumbass blogs know. But the paper of record? Totally botches it in an amazingly anachronistic (read: who cares anymore?) "At Home With"-style survey of Danny's likes (Bach, Starbucks), dislikes (giving credit where credit is due) and "his" digs:

Best thing about living in an apartment he designed: It's a simple place. The best things about it are the views of New York and all the light from the large windows. Otherwise it is fairly spartan.

Design M.O.: I put myself in the spirit of the place. My goal is to invent something memorable that isn't obvious, but is connected to the roots of the place.

That must also be Alex Gorlin's goal. Since he designed the apartment. That Danny has now robbed. Abetted by the Times.
