You can count on grace pettiness. You can count on plenty blight. You can count on us working rocking whenever the fuck we want. And you can count on the folks obsessed with rebuilding the Twin Towers to be very, very angry. So angry, kids, they can't even read good. But they write brilliantly.

From our overbrimming inbox:

Alright your newsgroup or whatever the hell you call it (I simply call it a shithole.) freaking sucks! You guys are morons who do not even take the time to look into the facts BEFORE writing an article. I noticed that you claim that the Team Twin Towers wants to build "replicas" of the original Twin Towers. That is an exaggerated lie on your behalf, and complete bullshit! Look at all the pictures of the entries on the contest page and notice that none of them are the exact originals! You would have to be blind to belief that they are! I don't fucking care if you guys delete this mail or not, however I just figured you should know why everybody wants to destroy your shitty excuse for a website.

P.S. The Gutter is a great name for your shithole because, that must of been where you guys were spawned from.

And the beat goes on.

Kinda tough on you all, isn't she (sounds like a she, doesn't it). Don't let it get you down. I still love you. I mean it. I do.

i did look at the contest page, and all of the "designs", if you can actually call them that, are horrible. it is a completely retarded competition, and this is reinforced by the quality of the selections that made the top five. i think i am actually became dumber looking at them.

and if you really want to feel like sticking rusted coat hangers in your eye sockets, check out Peter Cook's website (see gutter rant above this)

72 contestants to this competition would make a dandy female Al-Qaeda terrorist destiny...all arrested-adolescence male virgins...

So Nelson Rockefeller was an "arrested-adolescence male virgin"?

Oh Adam. One should be careful the links he puts up. Here are some quotes from articles on your site, which I assume you advocate:

"Americans should not be eager to see anything else built on this site."

That idea is about as infantile as the next:

"If the terrorist gang had not plotted to destroy them, Silverstein or one of his associates may have."

That says it all right there. Silverstein may have plotted 9/11? Ummm....rrrright (Dr. Evil voice).

You should watch who you call names when you post the most anti-tall-building, conspiracy theory-laden garbage on your site.

If they had made a determination to rebuild the towers to the original forms, wouldn't they be nearing completion by now?

=======================

Belated response.

Keep in mind that the quotes are *not* from my own pieces, and that they exist on the site might as well be Voltairean for all anyone cares, i.e. not my own opinion per se, but spew away anyway.

If anything, my own "9-11 as an Al-Qaeda-to-Aguilera wannabe-Duchampian autoerotic experience garbage" ought to be more contentious than the "anti-tall-building, conspiracy theory-laden garbage"; so *you* have to watch *how* you tell me to watch who I call names; esp. when there may be even weirder stuff right under your nose...
